It is essential you use the WhatsApp groups to organise your matches.
Welcome to our Ladies’ Doubles Ladder Competition, a fun, social, and competitive event running over a 6-week period. This format encourages regular match play, meeting new partners, and improving your game in a relaxed but structured setting.
Players are divided into 8 ladder boxes (L1–L8) based on their playing level and past results.
Each box consists of up to 15 players who will compete against each other throughout the ladder period.
Every player is expected to complete 3 matches within the 6 weeks.
Matches are played until one team reaches 8 games.
Every game won counts as a point for each player on that team.
For example, in an 8–5 result:
The winning pair each receive 8 points.
The losing pair each receive 5 points.
If the match reaches 7–7, a 10-point tiebreak is played to determine the overall winners.
Players are encouraged to reach out to others in their group to arrange matches.
All 4 players meet at a mutually agreed time.
Pairings are decided on court using the provided pairing generator.
Important: No player should partner with the same person more than once.
If a repeated pairing occurs, re-run the generator until new combinations are formed.
While you’re welcome to play more than 3 matches for fun or extra practice, only the first 3 results per player will count toward the ladder standings.
After each match, one player should submit the result using the form at the bottom of the ladder page.
Take a look at each group below to see current standings in the ladies’ doubles ladder. Remember, results will not appear instantly, please allow for up to 2 hours for your score to publish.
* indicates an alteration to points by the captains for various necessary reasons. Please check-in with your captains for more information.
Use the generator when you arrive on court. Enter the first name of each of the four players and hit “Generate Doubles Pairs”.
Remember: you must not play with the any player more than once during the ladder period. If anyone is paired with a previous partner, hit the generate button again.
One player will be randomly selected by the generator to enter the final match score.
Enter your match details below including each player name and the match score. Submit your email address and date of match too just in case we need to check in with you after the submission.
Please avoid entering results more than once. Check-in with your captains if you’re unsure if a match result has been submitted.
