Portmarnock Tennis Club was established and founded in 1983 as a member club of the Portmarnock Sports and Leisure Club (PSLC). The idea was to bring tennis as a sport to the growing and vibrant town of Portmarnock and the surrounding areas in Fingal.
In the vibrant 80s and 90s, Portmarnock Tennis Club experienced exceptional growth, fostering a keen sense of community. The club was recognised as the first to receive the prestigious Tennis Ireland Bronze Clubmark Award. This achievement underscores our dedication to upholding exacting standards in crucial areas. These include Facilities, Organisation & Management, Safety & Child Welfare, Play & Competition, Workforce, and Equality.
